A man tells a woman he loves her right after he meets her, because she's beautiful and everything he wants and she agrees to him.
His efforts to get her number was tremendous,he went up and down for it,he got her to give him, talks her into liking him...Next she expects this "efforts" to continue, but he isn't anymore, she complains and when confronted he says " I love you, that what matters" and there's no action whatsoever to this so called intention,he doesn't get married to her or tending towards that.
In this generation dating, there's alot of complaints that "he is not an intentional man" because he doesn't make efforts or "she's not a sweet girl" because she doesn't reciprocate the energy and "relationships" go about breaking because of this.
By now i think we understand where i am trying to go,that intentions are not enough but action afterwards.
This brings me to the main topic.
In islam intention preceed any action and yes it is in the heart but we have tend to misuse that phrase and even misunderstood that.
When people misbehave and are cautioned they say "but i believe in God" then go ahead and do as they wish and this is more prominent in when one is cautioned against something.
So if in our daily lives we require people to make efforts to interpret their love for us.
Then why are we not intentional in our worship,if we say we believe how then do we show that, its by examplifying through our acts towards the creator.
We are on a journey on this earth and our purpose is to worship Allah and associate none in that worship.
We seek guidance and pray that we become better servants.
Ameen
