The walls that stand strong,
Roofs over your head,
Foundation of a building,
Glue of relationship,
Bulletproof in the battlefield,
Prince charming of daughters,
Role models of sons,
Love of mothers,
Someone will say is today father's day and why this piece. I will say today isn't father's day and yes this piece because why not.As you grow older and start getting responsible you will realise that as harsh as it is outside someone even went through worst for you.
Praises for father aren't often sang probably because they don't have hiegtened emotional need or that some bad eggs spoilt the crate and it is okay if you don't relate.
In general Father's are heroes who forgo theirs for theirs,put a family first and move with the sole aim of providing and protecting.
When you leave your father at home and take the streets most hustling men out there are doing it for their family,then one will imagine what is my father going through or have gone through to bring me up to this stage.
The responsibility that lies on their shoulder to feed and afterwards garner wealth for their families so they can still feed after their deaths,who does that.
Oh Masha Allah, I am no Man so I wouldn't understand it,but I appreciate it.
This thought was borne from sheer thinking and recent experiences of trying to forge one's path and coming to realize how protected we were all these while,that no one gives unconditionally like your parents and what sacrifices father make to be where they at,some even falling into evil and if you ask....their answers will be always " I have a family"
I personally beats my chest to a sweet aging father.
Many others will too,many others wouldn't and many more others didn't have the chance.
Love and light to those still alive,
Eternal peace to those who have passed before us,
And prayers to those who are trying to be one.
A great family starts with a great father.
