Yes starting school is not an issue but getting through the first day is😔 especially as a teenager.
My first day at a new school,i entered the class during maths period and the teacher welcomed me as well as everyone.
Immediately i took my seat and that deep breath,the teacher asked that he will test my maths knowledge because he needs to know if the new students is like everyone else because the class was so bad at maths except one person 😂
I was like what!!!!😖(in my mind)
Drawing attention to me is not what i need today.
But he had to do it and it goes like
2+2=4 then 4+4=8 then 8+8=16 till one can stop and he measured maths proficiency with that😂
He started and i stopped at 32🤭i got stucked because as i said before i still add with my fingers.
He flagged me off as a "dull maths students"
He sprinkle some hurtful things,but i wasn't bothered.
I just giggled it away.
Next day was maths test,and he said since i just joined i could choose not to write,i told him i will he shouldn't worry.
I topped the test anyway and it shocked him.
He asked so i know how to solve maths,i smiled that away......
Became one of the maths best in the class.(not like the majority even like maths in the class so),😂😂
